Gurukul Global School celebrates National Maths Day

The students of Gurukul Global School, Chandigarh celebrated the National Mathematics Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of the great Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan on 21st and 22nd December, 2021. Various practical activities were organized for the students of classes 1 to 10th on this occasion. Class 1 enjoyed 'Shapes Pizza - A Delight', Class 2 enjoyed 'Mathematical Bingo', Class 3 enjoyed 'Symmetric Face Mask'. Joyful', Class 4 was engaged in 'My Dream House - One Room- Layout of Happiness' and Class 5 also participated in 'Angle Studio' and 'Mathematical Treasure Hunt'.
Class 6 students made beautiful patterns using tangrams.
Class 7 made beautiful and creative structures with origami sheets.
Class 8 had surprised everyone by creating colorful designs on grid paper using spirolaterals.
Class 9 students participated in budgeting for their birthday parties and gave it a creative angle.
Class 10 and 9 students also participated in a maths quiz where they fought face to face to face challenging questions.
All these activities were planned by the experienced teachers of the school keeping in mind the objective of experiential learning, enhancement of inductive and deductive reasoning and happiness for all. The students participated with enthusiasm, and thoroughly enjoyed the celebrations.
