Students welcomed the new year 2022

The kids in DC Model School together bid a befitting farewell to the year 2021 and welcomed the year 2022 by organising various fun filling activities. The children participated in an online card making activity and exhibited their creativity to the utmost. They conveyed significant messages and warm wishes for the New Year.  They further shared the pictures of their cards with their teachers. The students also shared their videos stating their interesting resolution for the New Year 2022. It was amazing to see the confidence and determination of the little ones declaring their resolution for the coming year. The children promised not to watch too much TV, not to play games on mobile, avoid eating junk food, to wear masks, to grow plants, to save water and many more. The students tapped their feet together to welcome the new year. The celebration was concluded with a formal address by the Vice Principal Ms. Deepika Bharadwaj. She conveyed her best wishes for the New Year and encouraged the efforts of the children. She also asked them to keep up their spirits. The coordinator Ms. Nidhi Puri also extended her good wishes to the children, parents and teachers.
