Young Maestros gave Impressionable Performance

It is rightly said that music is the language of the universe and is key to creativity.  It cheers the spirit and lightens the heart.  In fact, through singing children learn to express their feelings and ideas. To bring out the singing talent of the students, a solo singing song competition was organized in DC Model Sr. Sec. School for class 3. The theme of the singing competition was motivational and value based songs. The students participated enthusiastically and sang songs with passion and confidence keeping in mind the rhythm, tone, and voice modulation. All the participants chose different songs and gave their best to be the winners of the show.  All the young maestros were appreciated by the judges for their impressionable performance. The Vice- Principal, Mrs. Deepika Bhardwaj was all in praise for the budding singers. She wished them good luck for their bright future and asked the students to carry their passion forward in life. The Coordinator, Mrs. Nishi Chadha thanked all the parents and teachers who contributed and spared time to make the show a great success. Later the judges gave their verdict on the basis of the pre-defined rubrics. Anshika, Ipshita and Prapti bagged first, second and third position respectively. Jasmitha was given consolation.
